About JHVH
JHVH (pronounced "Jehovah"), alias of producer and creative director Javey Ecchi, is an electro-pop singer, songwriter, and performer based in New York City.
JHVH, a name based on his initials, aspires to excellence in production and performance to an almost transcendent level. Honing a wide skill set that encompasses songwriting, production, engineering, lyric and hook writing, fashion styling, graphic design, and makeup artistry.
A pop savant with a strong lyrical voice, JHVH is firmly planted in the realm of electronic pop, future bass, and ambient pop. He cites a wide variety of eclectic influences such as Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen, Justin Bieber, Disclosure, Icona POP, J-pop and K-pop artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, Utada Hikaru, and Perfume. Influenced by in-demand producers such as Jamie xx, SOPHIE, and A.G. Cook, JHVH is pushing the envelope with neo-bubblegum pop sounds inspired by the PC Music label and movement currently coming out of the UK.
His immersive craft which lies at the intersection of fashion, music, and art is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the New York music scene.
